Luoyang Northglass Technology Co.,Ltd,foundedby board chairman Gao Xueming on May 18, 1995 in Luoyang Hi-Tech Development Zone, is mainly engaged in the research and development of glass post processing technologies and equipments featuring glass tempering technology. With approval from Henan provincial government, it was converted into a company limited by shares on May 18, 2000. The largest shareholder Gao Xueming offered shares as incentive to senior management and technical cadres, a total of 27 management and technical backbones and staff representatives currently make up the Board of Directors, Board of Supervisors and business organization, with a labour union and a Party branch already established. The company, whose registered capital is RMB200 million with net assets of RMB300 million, now has more than 1,500 employees, of whom over 25% are specialized technical personnel. Shanghai Northglass Technology Industry Co, a joint venture of Northglass Group and Switzerland-based CATTIN, was registered and incorporated in Shanghai in August 2003 with a total investment of USD 29 million and registered capital of USD 12 million, and was completed for operation in May 2005. The company is mainly engaged in the design and manufacture of glass machinery featuring glass tempering technology and the processing and manufacturing of glass post-processing products. Located in Shanghai Songjiang Technology Zone, the joint venture covers an area of more than 200mu.
Beijing Northglass Safety Glass Co., Ltd is a Sino-foreign joint venture invested and controlled by Northglass Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. The company covers 52mu with production workshop area of 19000m2, with 3 large flat tempered glass production lines, 2 bow tempered glass production lines (one of which can make glass with maximum width of 3.3m), 1 large (3m*6m) dry laminated glass production line, 2 hollowing glass production lines (one of which is Lisec automatic insulating glass production line imported from Austrian), and auxiliary equipments for grinding, boring and cleaning. The bent tempered glass manufacturing facilities have such benefits as high production speed, no need for die arrangements, energy conservation, and reach international leading level. The annual production capacities of the facilities are as follows： 40,000m2 insulated glass; 1 million m2 flat tempered glass; 600,000m2 bent tempered glass; 100,000m2 laminated glass. The products have been applied in many domestic large building projects and the quality has been acknowledged and praised. Presently, the company is the largest glass post-processing base in Beijing.
